US rap mogul/boss Marion “Suge” Knight was arrested on Wednesday the 27th August by police on drugs charges and for violently assaulting a woman believed to be his partner.
The icon that once ruled Death Row Records and worked hand in hand with Dr Dre to create famous artists such as Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur has been having a troubled couple years of upset and failures.
In 2006, trustee’s were ordered to take management of the Death Row Records after Suge filled for bankruptcy. Then in May, of this year, he was attacked outside a nightclub in Hollywood where he was knocked out for 3 minutes and was rushed to hospital. Then later the next month, in April, he sold the failing label, Death Row Records (rumored to have sold for $24 million). All to supposedly focus on his new label, Blackball Records and to ’sort himself out’.
Las Vegas officers arrived to see 43 year old Mr Knight holding a knife and beating a woman in a car park, who although her name has not been released, is believed to be Suge’s partner. They had just left a strip dancing club earlier in the evening and started to argue whilst driving home until eventually they crashe into a curb.
Upon searching Mr Knight he was found with the chemical drugs Ecstasy and hydrocodone. Both of which are illegal in the US state of Las Vegas.
Suge Knight was then released on bail, late Wednesday, after paying $19,000 dollars but has to appear back in court on the 26th September to face his charges. In the meantime his un-named partner is in hospital being treated for minor injuries.

I think Suge is dealing with carma now, because of the bad things we know about and things we don’t know about that he has done in the past. You only can do wrong for so long before it comes back on you! Suge knows who killed Tupac and Biggie.It was over greed,since of pride,and envy! Tupac made a pac with the devil to be the highest selling hiphop artist in history, but he didn’t think about how that would be achieved. He and all of us found out in 1996. Suge was to much of a coward when passing the blame for Tupac death on opposing gang. I think he had Biggie killed or knew about the plot because he couldn’t stand seeing his opposing label continue to have a shining star after he put his out. This is called jeolusy and cowardness. If you have to bully people to get them to do what you want them to do, you have a serious problem. Yes I’m saying all of this because it’s my opinion and I’m not afraid of Suge Knight or anybody else except God.If you have a problem with this, don’t try to solve it with violence like the usuall way. LIfe is to short for crap that doesn’t make any since. Life is to precious to be taken. If you choose to live a screwed up life and just don’t care what happens with yours Suge, don’t screw up or take someone elses!

No my friend your wrong. Suge was violent in the club prior to the police seeing him, CCTV footage proves that! An hour later (when he was arrested) I very much believe by all reports that he was violently beating the woman, why else would she need to spend 3+ hours in hospital receiving treatment???
At the end of the day we weren’t there so maybe we are being wrong and maybe they are just allegations, besides your innocent until proven guilty I guess.
I do however think there is a lot of unanswered controversy/rumors surrounding Suge and his past and we can’t resent him for what has never been proven.

Who cares about this it is probably true suge has no right who cares if he was owed money. He has over $100 million and about $30 million of that is Tupac’s. How can one of the greatest rappers of all time Tupac Shakur end up leaving behind less then $108,000 in a bank account, and no house. O wait suge charged everything to tupac’s accounts and claimed all tupacs belongings as deathrow property.
When Tupac was shot he tried to jump into the back seat and Suge pulled him down, why would he do that? and Tupac said he wanted to drive his hummer to club 662 but Suge wouldnt let him.
hmm all seems suspicious and then one of the bloods from deathrow in thef first car behind him said he could definitely identify the shooter but was later found dead in new jersey from a bullet to the back of the head. What is up with all of this???
