Californian rapper, Snoop Dogg, has teamed up with UK trip hop producers Massive Attack for the lead single from the new documentary/film ‘In Prison My Whole Life’.
The track titled ‘Calling Mumia’ is featured on the soundtrack, whilst the film premiers this weekend (in the UK) the song itself is available for download now.
Based on his life, In Prison My Whole Life, is all about Abu Jamal who was sentenced to the death penalty in 1982 after being convicted for the shooting of a police officer. Currently a prissoner in a Pensylvanian jail all of Abu-Jamal’s appeals have been denied.
