Grammy award winning producer and rapper Kanye West will be performing at the 2008 MTV VMA’s it’s been announced.
Last year, at the event held in Las Vegas, Kanye was nominated for five awards and won none, resulting in him having a ‘diva moment’. It ended with him storming out of the award ceremony stating that he would never come back to it again after not winning an award for the second year in a row. But times have changed and Kanye West is going back.
Although the songs/performance is unknown currently, we do know that he is going to be performing tracks of his new album, set for a December release this year.

Kanye West will be closing the awards on Sunday night, with the final performance. Other performers on the night include T.I and Rihanna as well as the show being opened by Britney Spears and Christina Anguilera.
