After a busy couple of months Shawn Carter, a.k.a Jay-Z, has now spoken on his new upcoming album, The Blueprint III.
After just finishing and getting back from the Inauguration Ceremonies for President Obama, Jay Z spoke to MTV about his eleventh studio album set for release in the next couple months. In the interview he stated how he wanted to go “beyond and above” with the new album and how he doesn’t have any deadlines or quotas to fulfill with it, allowing him the freedom to really focus and create a masterpiece.
The album, which so far looks to be produced by Kanye West, has had tracks leaked onto the Internet causing them both to go back into the studio to create new ‘unheard’ tracks. Tracks leaked so far include ‘Swagger like Us’ and ‘Brooklyn Go Hard’.
Guest features on the album include Fabolous, Young Jeezy, Nas, Lil Wayne and T.I. So far no release date is confirmed however rumours suggest a February release date.
