New York rapper and business man Jay-Z (Shawn Corey Carter), and his partners, have finally announced the selling of his famous 40/40 club in Las Vegas.
The sports bar and lounge, located in The Palazzo opened last year in December then was sold only 9 months later, on the 17th August 2008.
In a press statement released on Wednesday Jay emphasized that he’s still going to be trying to make the brand known world wide and said “The sale is a great business decision, we are delighted. We look forward to expanding the brand even further to Chicago and Tokyo”. This was received with much disbelief by certain third parties, rumors are that it’s failed to have made any money since opening.
