50 Cent the Forbes Cash King

Forbes: 50 CentThe new Forbes Cash Kings list is now out, with New York rapper 50 cent leading the line and out doing everyone else.

50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) is estimated to have made $150 million last year beating fellow rap moguls worldwide. Second in line was Shawn Carter A.K.A Jay Z with an impressive $82 million. But how exactly is 50 making all this money??

The majority of his money came from him selling his stake of Vitamin Water to Coca Cola. In total the US company paid $4.1 billion for the Vitamin Water brand. Another profitable venture of 50’s is his current one with S.African billionaire Partrice Motsepe. The rapper has just gone into partnership with Partrice in a mining venture where he’s going to start selling 50 branded platinum.

Other rappers in the list include Sean ‘P.Diddy’ Combs who was third, earning just over $35 million and Kanye who came in fourth.
