On Thursday the 17th of July the Islington Acedemy, London will host this years final of the UK DMC DJ Competition and see the winners of the regional heats battle it out for the chance to represent the UK in the DMC World Final.
It’s to be held on 26th and 27th September at Indig02 aswell as a cheque for $10,000 from Ortofon the Golden Technics Turntables, previous winners of the UK crown include The Scratch Perverts, DJ Blakey and Plus One.
The final is to be hosted by Trip and Cut Master Swift with live PA’s from Beat Torrent (DJ Atom and DJ Pfel from C2C), Million Dan, Skitz & Le Shadow and Hobbit. So if you want to witness the UK’s best DJ talent then head down to the Islington Academy and check it out!
