Protesters Gather forStiller’s New Film Tropic’s Thunder

The premier of Tropic’s Thunder was held this week in Mann Village Theatre, Los Angeles. The premier was surrounded by controversy and protesters however, protesting against the film which supposedly, humiliates people with intellectual disabilities.

The film which has appearances from the likes of Jack Black, Tom Cruise, Steve Coogan and Robert Dowley Jr is about a group of over the top actors filming a Vietnam war movie until their writer/director decideds to actually drop them into a real war zone.

Tropic’s Thunder, directed by Ben Stiller, has had mixed reviews so far. Some say it’s the best action comedy of the summer, others say it’s only full of cheap poor jokes throughout.

The film premiers in the UK on the 19th of September.
