Dr Dre to Release ‘Aftermath Cognac’

West Coast producer and rapper Dr Dre has now finished The Detox, the final touches are being made slowly but the tracks are recorded, so now the marketing campaign needs to be started as we built up to its release later this year.

To promote/celebrate the upcoming album the good Doctor has teamed up with Drinks Americas in a joint venture to release a drink, called Aftermath Cognac. This was announced on August 6th.
The alcoholic beverage is set to be released with in the next two months. The joint venture between Dre/Interscrope/Drinks America is also planning to bring out a flavored and unflavored 80% sparkling vodka as well. This has yet to be named.

The plan for the cognac is to release/introduce at the same time at The Detox, his upcoming album, due November or December of this year.

On August 6th it was reported that Dr. Dre and Drinks Americas made a joint venture to release a drink called “Aftermath Cognac” within the next 60 days. According to Drinks Americas, this drink would be introduced at the same time as the Detox album as part of a marketing plan.
