Ex Bad Boy Artist Mark Curry “Tells All” About Diddy
Ex Bad Boy Artist Mark Curry “Tells All” About DiddyEx Bad Boy rapper Mark Curry is set to release a book next month, February 2009, that is meant to criticise and undermine P.Diddy’s business sense and success regards the Bad Boy Label. The Ex Bad Boy artist was signed to P.Diddy’s label for 8 years, before leaving in 2005, and didn’t even get the chance to drop one album. Now in a tell all book he is said to be setting the record straight as far as P.Diddy is concerned. Mark says in his book: “Welcome to Bad Boy, where dreams come true,” Sean Combs said as we shook hands over lunch in March 1997. The record producer spent the next hour telling me how impressive my rapping skills were, how soon he planned to release my debut album, and that my personal wealth would soon be in the seven-figure range. Talk about smoke and mirrors. Mark then proceeds to say how Diddy spends most of his time jumping on artists, making them have to have him on their records. Then after Diddy features in the videos and on vocals he charges them high rates which gets quietly deducted from their pay slips. Mark Curry’s career peaked in 2001 when he featured on P.Diddy’s album “The Saga Continues” and featured on the track “Bad Boy for Life”. The song reached #13 in the UK charts and #33 in the US Billboard Chart. He also wrote many of P.Diddy’s lyrics for songs as well as producing for LL Cool J and various Bad Boy acts. His book, Dancing with the Devil, is out next month. He is however allowing people to read the first chapter, for free, on his website. |
